Adaptive reuse, converting an old retail space into commercial office and laboratory

95 Wordsworth Street, Sydenham, Christchurch is a commercial building around the corner from the Colombo shopping centre. The building was built in 1965 and purchased by NZHP in 2018. Redevelopment included a re-roof, change of internal layout and structural strengthening to 67% NBS. It is the location of the Underground Overground Archaeology Christchurch offices, laboratory and artefact storage.

Construction work was completed by Avon Dickie Construction in 2020.
